Initially, England’s Johnny May had been at the No 11 jersey but after pointing out that there weren’t any South Africans at the side, Greens swapped out him to Mapimpi.
He can give Springbok fans something to cheer about, Even though Mapimpi is the only South African to create the Will’s World XV.
“To put this into perspective that I can easily pick Steven Kitshoff, Malcolm Marx along with Frans Malherbe are excellent. In the next row Eben Etzebeth and RG Snyman can slot in there – and I have not discussed about Mostert.
“free of 6 I should have Siya Kolisi there, I like Kwagga Smith, Pieter-Steph Du Toit is a creature and Duane Vermeulen is awesome!
“Then Faf De Klerk free of 9, Handre Pollard at 10. Damian de Allende and Lukhanyo’m at the center, Cheslin Kolbe and Makazole Mapimpi on the wings and I’d have Willie Le Roux in every group – so do not tell me that they are not going to win at the World Cup!”
