Thornton scored his 400th career goal on November 13 and on April 4 that he passed Nicklas Lidstrom (1,564) into 12th spot on the all-time games list and Steve Yzerman (1,063) into eighth place on the all-time aids list.
He was eighth on the Sharks with 51 points last season, since he averaged 15 minutes and 33 seconds Time Ice per Sport (TOI/G). Joe Thornton finished with 35 assists, 16 goals and 51 points.
