Kane’s Monday might have ended to a brutally sour note, but he included a brand fresh championship.
Better known nowadays as Glenn Jacobs, the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, the (nonetheless very) Big (but not really ) Red Machine has been only too pleased to give R-Truth a guided tour of their best Knoxville has to offer.
During a visit to The University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium, Jacobs seized his moment – following Truth hauled out himself and had run into a goalpost – to pin the 24/7 champion and bag the title.
Technically, that currently means Kane has competed at a game in each year since 1995 and has since added another entrance.
“I got it,” was that the roar in the mayor because he left the scene – though he would just have the’it’ of the name for a few more hours.
Truth hid along with the limousine which took Jacobs and slid it off before rolling him up to recapture the buckle and begin his 16th reign.
