Mark Jones states if they dont end their long wait for a Rugby World Cup win against Canada on 26, Namibia will have no excuses.
Namibia are currently contesting their sixth World Cup but have yet to pick up a victory, coming closest in a 17-16 defeat to Georgia.
A clash between both lowest-ranked states in this years championship – with eliminated from Pool B – presents an opportunity to put a stop to that record that is unwanted, together with Canada having only registered one win in their past 15 World Cup matches.
Its been quite evident that this band of gamers have created a no-excuses surroundings, said Jones.
Just because we havent won a match at a World Cup in six tries doesnt offer you a heavenly right that were going to win you at this function. We have to earn that right.
We have remained in the present time, focusing on our own detail and game, ensuring were the most effective Namibian staff we could be.
We wont require any excuses at the end of it because we will leave the pitch knowing we left everything out there.
Canada are confident the match will go ahead regardless of the threat and head coach Kingsley Jones says his side will be prepared to cope with the conditions in Kamaishi.
The talks about an option of there not being a match, thats something well deal with when it arises and, as it sounds, we must prepare the emotional side of game, he said.
We are getting ready for a game, we look forward to the game. The weather states are a factor in our trainings.
We believe the game plan in the sport, that will surely change, but until weve got telling that there wont be a match, were 100 per cent focused and on track and looking forward to that. That is the only thing we could do.
