Does trainer Sean McDermott finally have the Bills going in the ideal direction?
The Buffalo Bills have a winning record of this year after the 1st quarter. This in itself is an accomplishment for a team thats been for most of the past decade. It seems that Bills fans might eventually have something to be happy about. Head Coach Sean McDermott has this team. Is Bills QB Josh Allen the quarterback this franchise has been on the lookout for as Jim Kelly retired? Im not convinced but he did enough to win the first few matches of this season. However. The stats say the offense is getting the task done but badly.
Most have the offense ranked around 28th in the league which makes you think, how long does this group continue to win with an offense? The reason 28th is currently getting the job done is that the device on this group is elite. The Adventures have a top 5 defense in the league at the moment and it revealed last week against the Patriots. Does anyone on earth believe that Marcus Mariota is a franchise worthy quarterback? In an earlier post on OddsMarket (SBRs sister site), I wrote in my 5 favorite AFC season win totals. Among my favoriteunders was the Tennessee Titans. Im not a believer in this group and specifically Mariota. I figured this season they would give Tannehill a shot in the starting job, but it hasnt happened yet.
Through 4 games this season the Titans have their head above water with a 2-2 record. They have about the offense. How I would game plan against this crime is throw 8 in the box to include Henry and induce you to be beaten by Mariota and weve seen some of the from opposing defenses, but I hope a lot more of that going forward. The bright spot on the team the last 4 decades has been the defense. They have had a top 10 defense the past couple decades and they are right around that this season. They are currently 14th at DVOA this season which is slightly worse than last season but its only been a sample size. Both Mariota and Henry might need to play this season When the Titans plan on defeating the Buffalo Bills game. Can they do it?
Who wins the match? Well online started since the Titans being a 1 point favorite. The betting market has pushed online 2 points to the -3. That sounds excessive to me. In a ideal world, I would like to acquire the hook and choose the Bills +3.5, but I am not certain the lineup will arrive. For the purposes of this article, that the NFL pick will be the Bills +3, however I would wait on this line. I didnt see the line getting to 3 in the first area, but who knows…. The public loves home favorites, so if they push this line over three, I would not be shocked by it.
